Top Black Friday and Cyber Monday Robot Vacuum Deals
If you've always wanted to buy a robot vacuum now is the time to get one. CNET's top models are on sale this Black Friday and Cyber Monday and can save you up to 57%.
The Roborock Q7 Max is a powerful robot that has smart mapping and app-based no-go zones. Its 180-minute running time is impressive. It also automatically refills and self-empties its water tank.
1. iRobot Roomba j7+
The Roomba j7+ is iRobot's most intelligent robot vacuum to date. Its most significant innovation is a camera-based obstacle detection system that makes use of built-in AI to detect objects such as charging cords, shoes and the dreaded pet waste that most other robots can't avoid (and often slough through). It's the first robot to send you a picture of an object that it encounters, meaning you can tell the robot to stay clear of it.

The Combo J7+ is the most effective mop-bot we've ever tested, picking up spills and dirt effortlessly and leaving no trace that it was there. The iRobot application makes it simple to control. robot vacuum sale can schedule cleanings, and also create Keep Out Zones to ensure it doesn't vacuum in areas you don't would like. It's compatible with Alexa or Google Assistant so you can start it and stop it using voice.
The design is also better than the competition. It has a sleek, top piece that appears like toys rather than an obnoxious and loud robot. Clean Base Automatic Dirt disposal System is also self-emptying which can cut down on cleaning time.
In our tests the j7+ was quick to remove dust dirt, pet hair and even pet hair. The counter-rotating rubber brush roll kept the debris in one spot rather than sending it scattering across the floor. It was able to collect small pieces of gravel, sand, and even a bit of grit. Most robots could not achieve this feat. And it did all this without getting caught in our pet's hair shedding.
Although it's not as sophisticated as the Roomba s9+ Self-Emptying Vacuum, which isn't able to clean stairs The J7+ is an excellent option for those who need a vac and a mop in their home. It's not too expensive and the iRobot App makes it simple to use.
Although the iRobot Home app is very easy to use however we've found it be less reliable than other apps that use robotic cleaners. It can take a while to download updates, and sometimes it's difficult to know if the update is actually functioning until you've seen it in action.
2. Roborock Q5+
If you're looking to purchase a robot vacuum that does more than simply clean floors, the most effective option is likely to be a hybrid. These machines are equipped with a water tank so they can vacuum and mop simultaneously. These bots also come with various additional features like smart mapping, small object avoidance, and the capability to wash and dry mopping pads. The downside is that they tend to be expensive when purchased at full retail, but on Black Friday and Cyber Monday they usually drop in price.
Roborock has some of our favorite robot vacuums, and the Q5+ is no exception. This is their least expensive auto-empty model. While it doesn't have some of the premium features found on higher-end models (like no-go zones and multi-story memory) it's a great option if you're willing to sacrifice a little to save some hundred dollars.
The Q5+ is remarkably soft when it comes to obstacles like table legs and walls. This makes it an ideal choice for homes that have a lot of furniture. It's also very thorough when it comes to cleaning dust bunnies, which is a place where cheaper robot vacuums often fail. The navigation technology in the Q5+ is superb as well, with only a few misses in corners and along walls.
The Q5+, as with other Roborock products can be controlled with a few buttons on the device, or via the Roborock App. With the app you can start and stop cleanings, set schedules, create virtual barriers and no-go zones and adjust your home map, or re-label rooms.
If you choose the Q5+ it comes with a brand new auto emptying dock that is designed to make the robot easier to maintain. It requires a screwdriver to install, but once in place, emptying the bin is relatively simple. It has a large LCD screen that is very useful in setting up schedules and changing settings. This isn't an essential feature for most people however it will assist you in keeping track of the maintenance intervals for your robot with ease.
3. Narwal Freo X Ultra
The Freo X Ultra robot vacuum and mop is a sophisticated well-rounded mop and vacuum. It's capable of vacuuming and mopping. Its design and features are some of the top available however, it's also expensive.
The base station looks nice and is easily hidden when not in use, and its size is relatively compact. But the station's biggest selling feature is the way it automatizes many tasks and functions that most other robots will leave to you. It can store clean and dirty water, it electrolyzes and heats the water (which most other robovacs require you to do) and empty the dust bin after vacuuming, and helps keep your robot fully charged and clean.
Its vacuuming performance is quite impressive and efficient, too. It's one of the few robot vacuums I've tested that do an excellent job of picking up debris on unfinished floors, and it's not nearly as loud as the more expensive Roomba 980 or iRobot 900 series.
However, the Freo X Ultra has its shortcomings, particularly when it comes to navigation. Its laser sensors and LiDAR sensors aren't as reliable as other robot vacuums. This means it could get stuck or confused in certain corners or rooms in the house. It also can't climb stairs like other models and isn't equipped with a dock that can create a cleaning zone for plush carpets.
The Freo X Ultra robot vacuum and mop is an excellent choice for those who want an automated vacuum that can do it all.
If you're looking to save money or aren't concerned about the limitations of the robot, there are other options on the market. Many of the eufy models cost considerably less. The eufy Qrevo Curv, for instance is less expensive and offers the same experience in the app, but with more features like the ability to climb stairs, a full-function dock, and superior overall vacuuming performance on bare floors and low and high-pile carpets.
4. Eufy RoboVac G30
eufy is an Anker company with a history of producing robot vacuums that offer the perfect balance of performance, features, and price. The G30 Hybrid is no different, offering a capable cleaning of hard floors and mopping functions as well as carpets at a reasonable price. It's easy to set up, just connect one of the side brush, turn it on and connect your charging dock. The app will guide you through the steps needed to connect your G30 to your Wi-Fi. You'll need to leave the dock close to a power outlet and ample space to allow it to move however.
The G30 is tiny, 2.85 inches tall to be precise and can be placed under sofas and other furniture with low clearance. Its design is a little less flashy than some of the rival models, sporting a sleek black finish and three physical buttons: Auto Cleaning start/pause, Recharge and Spot Clean (which cleans the area in an arc for two minutes). It is also possible to connect the G30 to Amazon Alexa or Google Home to perform cleaning that is not scheduled using voice commands.
The most important feature that sets the G30 apart from most competitors is the way it cleans. It makes use of a built-in map to create an image of immovable objects it encounters and then keeps track of what it has already cleaned and the areas it's not able to access. When it needs to recharge, it automatically returns to its starting point and begins cleaning from where it left off.
The eufy G30 has a few flaws. The iRobot Roomba is better built and has lower cost of operation. It charges faster, has similar battery life and is more effective on bare floors or low-pile carpet. It also comes with a larger dust bin that doesn't require to be emptied as often and comes with a set of boundaries that ensure it isn't in certain areas. The G30 however is more affordable and is much more manageable to maintain. Its smaller dust canister does not require emptying as often and is less prone to suffocating bulky material like cereal.
